Laila is the room closest to the patio, on the ground floor of the riad. Open the stained-glass door and the central fountain is right there. Wake up, look up from the bed, and you are already in the courtyard.
A double bed under a finely worked white stucco ceiling, blue-and-white zellige mosaic on the lower walls, and an orange-tinted lantern overhead. A carved dark-wood cabinet with a mirror, an ensuite bathroom just off the room, air conditioning and heating.
It is the room we recommend to guests who want stairs out of the equation, or who like to wake up to the sound of water in the patio.
